Further, it is also informed that the applications in the prescribed form from students who are appearing to the Regular/Failed examinations shall be submitted to the Principal Nursing Tutor/Nursing Tutor Grade I of the Govt. Schools of Nursing as shown in the Annexure. In this connection, it is to inform that there is no change in the Application form for General Nursing and Midwifery Examination. But in the Annexure-IV i.e., Attendance Certificate regarding 1st year, the subjects have to be modified according to new syllabus. The rest of the Annexure IV i.e., regarding 2nd year and 3rd year will be remained same, for this year. The failed candidates who are appearing for 1st  year exams as per the old syllabus shall submit the Annexure-IV without any modification.

 

The filled in applications of the students of Nursing Schools should be scrutinized and submitted to the Superintendent of the concerned Hospital on or before 15-07-2006 by 5.00 P.M. by the Principal Nursing Tutor/Nursing Tutor Gr.I.  The Superintendents of the Hospitals / Dy. Chairman BEGNM are requested to forward the scrutinized examination applications along with “SCRUTINY CERTIFICATE” on or before              20-07-2006 to the Director of Medical Education, A.P., Hyderabad. 

 

The Principal Nursing Tutor/ Nursing Tutor Grade I of the Institutions are instructed that the scrutiny of the applications which are submitted to issue of the Hall Tickets may be done very carefully by tallying with the Originals.  If, any deviations happened the concerned Tutors will be held responsible. Any applicant who is not eligible should be rejected by the Superintendent of the Hospitals concerned  under intimation to the Director of Medical Education & Chairman, Board of Examinations for General Nursing & Midwifery (BEGNM) duly indicating the reasons for rejection.

 

Important Note:

 

The Principals of Govt./Private Schools of Nursing are directed that they have to enclose the Xerox copies of the Mark lists of the previous years to the Examination applications.  Without this the applications will not be accepted by the Principals of the Govt. Schools of Nursing for scrutiny.

Further, they have to enclose a certificate to the examination application from the concerned hospital stating that the student have completed the required clinical hours.                                                                                                                     

The examination fee structure is as follows:-

 

1.      Ist year examination or part thereof Rs.110/-

2.      IInd year examination or part thereof Rs. 160/-

3.      IIIrd year examination or part thereof Rs.210/-

(including fee for issue of Memo. of marks of Rs.5/-) 

The above fee should be remitted through challan in the Government treasury to the following Head of Account on or before 15-07-2006

                        “0210 – Medical & Public Health

                             03 – Medical Education Training & Research

                  MH   105 – Allopathy

                  SH (81)   -  Other receipts

                           001 – Other receipts.” 

            The original challan along with (2) Xerox copies has to be enclosed to the application form.  The fee once paid will not be returned or adjusted under any circumstances. 

N.B:- The specimen application form may be obtained from the Heads of the  

Government Schools of Nursing concerned. If printed forms are not available typewritten forms may also be used.   

Any application without the following particulars liable for rejection.  Further, they should follow the following instructions scrupulously. 

1)              Candidates appearing for 2nd year Examinations under New regulations

indicate the month and year including Roll No. of the first year in which

they have passed.

 

2)              Proforma of the Hall ticket should be filled in and affix the Photo, duly

          attested by the principal concerned.

 

3)              The candidates should furnish the following information:

 

1.      Number of attempts made by them with H.T. Nos. and Year.

2.      Subjects in which failed.

3.      Subjects in which now appearing for examination.

 

4)              As per the above schedule, the candidates should produce their practical

Record at the examination center concerned.

 

5)              The Principals of Private Schools of Nursing are informed that necessary

Instructions may be given to their students concerned that while filling up the

Application form the name of the student/Father or Guardian Name/ Institution as per their S.S.L.C./S.S.C., IN BLOCK LETTERS ONLY, AND NO CORRECTIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED LATER ON. They should

Write the identification marks of the student also. 

6)              The Principals of both Government and Private Schools of Nursing are

 informed that they should furnish MIGRATION CERTIFICATE of the students admitted from other than Andhra Pradesh who are appearing for 1st year of General Nursing and Midwifery Examinations i.e., for August,2005 without fail.  If not Hall ticket cannot be issued to them.  Further, they are informed that, if the Selection list duly approved by the Selection Committee is not received, the Hall Tickets cannot be issued under any circumstances.

7)              THE PRINCIPALS OF SCHOOLS OF NURSING ARE INFORMED

THAT HALL TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED ONLY TO THOSE SCHOOLS THAT ARE FOLLOWING  INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL REGULATIONS, NEW DELHI.  

8)              The Superintendents of the concerned Hospitals are informed that they are requested to obtain the internal marks of the students of their concerned Private Schools of Nursing on or before 15-07-2006 and submit the same to this Office while collecting the Hall tickets in person.   They are also informed that unless the internal marks are submitted by them the hall tickets cannot be issued under any circumstances and no choice will be given in this regard.  Hence, the Superintendents of the concerned Hospitals are requested to make a note of it and issue necessary instructions to them if necessary in this regard, and submit the same to this Office on the above stipulated date mentioned without fail, for smooth running of the examination process. 

9)              The Principals/ Nursing Tutors Grade I of the Government Schools of Nursing concerned are requested to attend this Office on the following dates for receipt of Hall tickets and Examination material from 17-08-2006 to     19-08-2006.
