Notification for filling up  of

Dental Assistant Surgeons (DAS) /Tutors/Assistant Professors

in Andhra Pradesh Medical & Health (Dental) Services - July 2004.

 

I.          Total No.of Vacancies:

III.      Minimum Qualification for   Dental Assistant Surgeon .

 

            Should have passed BDS Degree examination or its equivalent included in the  Scheduled  (1) of the  IMC Act 1956 as amended from time to time and from a  College recognized by the D.C.I.

 

IV.                Minimum Qualification for Assistant Professor / Tutor  Dental.

 

            (a)   Should have passed MDS Degree examination or its equivalent in the respective speciality included in the  Scheduled  (1) of the  IMC Act 1956 as amended from time to time and from a  College recognized by the D.C.I. 

 

            Candidates who have passed from  un-recognised Universities  are not eligible to apply.  Such applications if received will be rejected.

 

(b)            Must have completed Internship not later than 16-8-04.

(c)            Must be registered permanently  with A.P. Dental  Council  or

           other State in India,   constituted in DCI   Act.

 

V.                  Age limit

 

(a)          Candidate belonging to OC should not have completed 35  years of age as on  1-7-2004 ( should not  have been born on or before 1-7-69).

(b)          Relaxation will as follows.

            i.   for S.C. , S.T.    and B.C.                                 Five years.

            ii.  for  Ex-Service Men                                          Three years

                 in addition to the  length of service

                 in Armed forces

            iii.  for P.H. persons                                            Ten years

 

 

VI.                Reservations

 

           Will apply for women  / SC / ST / BC / PH / Ex-Service men   as  per Roaster System   and for local candidate  as per the Six Point Formula and as per  existing rules.

 

VII.               Scale of Pay.

 

Rs. 7900 - 250 - 8400 - 9900 - 350 - 11650 - 450 - 13900 - 525 - 15475  and other Allowances as admissible  under the Rules in force  from   time to time.

 

VIII.             Selection Process.

 

            For  Dental Assistant Surgeon

 

       (a)   total percentage of  Marks in BDS  for all subjects

                 plus

(b)   weightage  for  Gold Medal in any subject in BDS      (05)  marks for

    each Medal.

(c)   (i)  any  published research paper /  indexed in  index

            medicus /  International Journals                            (05)  marks

      (ii)  any published research paper  indexed in index

             medicus / National Journals                                   (03) marks

 

(iii) any published research paper / publication

                     in State level Journal                    (02) marks

 

 

      For    Assistant Professors / Tutor s  (  Dental ).

 

       (a)   total percentage of  Marks in MDS  for all subjects

                 plus

(d)   weightage  for  Gold Medal in any subject in MDS      (05)  marks for

    each Medal.

(e)   (i)  any  published research paper /  indexed in  index

            medicus /  International Journals                            (05)  marks

      (ii)  any published research paper  indexed in index

             medicus / National Journals                                   (03) marks

 

(iii) any published research paper / publication

                     in State level Journal                    (02) marks

 

(B) There will be no Interview

 

 

IIX.  Application procedure .

 

(a)       Application should be submitted on a  typed while paper (size 34 x 21 cm )  in the  Prescribed Proforma.

(b)       Last date for receipt of  application on or before   5.00 P.M. on 16-8-2004

        (Department will not be responsible for any postal delays or  missing in

          transit  )

(c)    Address to which application  should be  sent  Director of Medical Education, DM&HS campus, Sultan bazaar, Koti,   Hyderabad - 500 095 duly mentioning the post approved for on the cover.

 

X.         Certificate etc.,  to be enclose with the application.

             Attested copies

(a)      BDS / MDS  Marks list.

(b)      BDS / MDS  Degree  Certificate

(c)      Internship completion certificate ( candidate should  have completed the Internship before 16-8-2004 ).

(d)      Certificate of permanent Registration in a A.P. Dental Council constituted  under D.C.I.   Act.

(e)      S.S.C.  or its equivalent certificates ( for  date of birth).

(f)        (i)  Study Certificate from  Class IV to X from the  School where the

              candidate studied. 

       (ii)  if,  SSC  or  its equivalent done by private study,  without out attending any school ,  resident certificate from Mandal Revenue Officer for  previous seven years.  In the  absence of the above certificate the candidate will be considered as non-local.

 

(g)      Attested copy of latest caste certificate  in case of SC  / ST / BC  candidate should invariably submit latest caste certificate as per  categorization into 

 

A/B/C/D/E ( in respect of BC.(E) decision shall be taken as per the final orders of the Hon’ble High Court of A.P)   Group from MRO concerned. In the absence of proper certificate the candidate will be  considered as O.C. only.

(h).  Crossed demand draft (DD) for Rs.2000/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank

  in favour of Director of Medical Education, Sultan bazaar, Koti, Hyderabad - 95

  payable at Hyderabad.

 

            XI.    IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES:

 

(a)   Filled in applications shall be send to DME, A.P. DM &HS Campus, Sultan           

      Bazaar, Hyderabad.

 

(b)   All envelopes containing the applications  should be super scribed ‘  specifying the post applied for.

 

(c)   One self addressed cover of size 12 x 26 cm with postal stamps worth of Rs.25/-  and a self addressed post card are to  enclosed.

 

(d)   In case of candidate doing P.G. Course selected provisionally ,  their selection will be confirmed on production of a certificate of withdrawal from the course from the university concerned only .  Under No. Circumstances permission will be given to continue their  the  P.G. Course if selected.

 

(e)   The above appointments are purely temporarily  and likely to be regularised  as per the rules .

 

(f)     Candidates selected and posted to Medical Institutions should execute a bond for Rs.2.00 lakhs  (Rupees Two lakhs only)  with Two sureties  that  he will serve in the Department for period of  Five Years .

 

 

(g)   Candidates selected and appointed  are barred from doing private practice including consultation practice.

 

 

(h) Selected candidates shall be liable  to serve in any part of the State in Andhra Pradesh and if selected he/she should join in the place where he/she is posted within  the stipulated time failing which  the his/her selection will be cancelled automatically.

 

 

(i)      The Director of Medical Education is empowered to cancel the recruitment.

 

( j )  The posts of likely to be increased or decreased based  on DCI  norms.
