O R D E R :

 

            In the G.O.3rd read above, Government have notified speciality-wise doctors who have exercised their options to be absorbed into the teaching cadre and having postgraduate Degree qualifications in various specialities totaling to 1882.

 

2.         The Director of Medical Education in the letter 4th read above has furnished the list of doctors who have exercised their options and having requisite qualification in Annexures 1-8 and requested them to absorb them into teaching side to notify the speciality-wise lists in the second phase as indicated below:-

 

Annexure – 1

All the doctors with postgraduate Degrees holders except in the Specialties of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology and Dermatology  to be absorbed into the teaching posts in respective Specialties, in existing vacancies in the Institutions under the Control of Director of Medical Education.

 

Annexure – 2

 List of doctors with postgraduate Degrees in the specialities of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT and Dermatology (the Specialties where no.of opted eligible candidates are in excess) whose names are figuring in the list for absorption into the teaching side. They will be given postings in any existing vacancy in any Department in the Institutions under the control of Director of Medical Education. They will be given  further teaching posts subject to vacancies in their specialties as and when vacancies are available as per APPSC / DSC rankings or Assistant Professor Seniority as the case may be.

 

Annexure – 3

 The list of service postgraduates in PG degree courses who have opted for teaching side as on May 2005 are included. They shall apply to Director of Medical Education upon acquiring the necessary qualification. They will be absorbed and given postings subject to availability of vacancies and as per their APPSC / DSC ranking.

 

Annexure – 4

 The list of Deputy Civil Surgeons with PG diploma & MBBS qualifications opted for absorption into teaching side and postings, and who are so absorbed.

 

 

 

 

Annexure – 5.

The list of Doctors with BDS Degree who have opted for absorption into teaching side under the control of the Director of Medical Education and who are so absorbed.

 

Annexure – 6

The list of doctors with PG Diplomas & MBBS qualification numbering 341 recruited up to 1996 who have opted for absorption into teaching side and who are so absorbed under Director of Medical Education side as per their APPSC / DSC seniority as on May 2005. Doctors whose names figure in the list and presently not working under the control of  Director of Medical Education shall apply through concerned Heads of the Department for posting under the control of Director of Medical Education in non-teaching posts. They will be given postings under the DME as per their seniority and availability of vacancies in non-teaching posts.

 

Annexure – 7

 The list of Doctors with PG diploma & MBBS recruited from 1997 onwards and who have opted for postings under the Director of Medical Education and can not be absorbed is enclosed and those Doctors listed in Annexure-7 who are presently working under the control of Director of Medical Education will continue in the existing post till they are surrendered to Director of Health or Commissioner, APVVP for further posting in due course, as per the requirement of the DH/APVVP. The junior most will be surrendered first.

 

Annexure – 8

 The list of Doctors with Postgraduate Diploma in Anaesthesia, Radio Diagnosis, Radio Therapy & DPM will be absorbed as Tutors or Civil Asst. Surgeons in institutions under the Control of DME in view of the need for teaching side in these Specialities.

 

3.         After careful examination, the Government have decided and accordingly order to notify the speciality-wise lists of doctors who have exercised their option and having requisite qualification as per APPSC/DSC ranks for absorption into the teaching and non-teaching posts under the control of the Director of Medical Education without assigning any seniority in the concerned specialty as mentioned in the Annexure 1-8 above is annexed to this order.

 

4.         The inter-se seniority of the above notified doctors purely provisional subject to the outcome of  W.P’s/W.As/ O.As etc., pending, if any before the Tribunal / High Court. They shall be posted under the control of Director of Medical Education as per stipulations attached to each annexure. Any wrong declaration in the option forms exercised, if noticed at subsequent date, is liable for necessary action including surrender to the non-teaching line.

 

5.         The Director of Medical Education, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.

            The attention of all the Principals of Govt. Medical Colleges and Superintendents of all the Govt. teaching Hospitals in the state are invited to the reference cited.

 

            It is to inform that Govt. in the G.O. 1st cited have issued  certain amendment to G.O. Ms. No. 583, HM & FW (A2) Dept., Dt. 2.12.05.

 

            Further the Govt. in the G.O. 2nd read above issued orders regarding absorption of doctors into teaching cadre as listed in the annexures 1-8.  The above G.O’s. along with its enclosure have  been published in the web site of the Director of Medical Education, A.P. Hyderabad.

 

            Therefore all the Head of the institutions working under the control of Director of Medical Education, A.P. Hyderabad are requested to download and to communicate them to each and every doctor working under their control.
